All Modern Standard products are made to order by our print-on-demand fulfilment partners. This means your item is produced after you place your order — please allow for production time in addition to the delivery estimates below.

1. How Our Fulfilment Works

Modern Standard operates on a print-on-demand model. We do not hold stock. When you place an order, it is sent directly to our fulfilment partner, who prints and despatches it on our behalf. This allows us to offer a wide range of designs with no minimum orders and no unsold inventory — but it does mean there is a short production window before your order ships.

Your total delivery time = production time + shipping time.

2. Production Times

Orders are typically produced and ready for despatch within 2–5 business days of being placed. Production times may be slightly longer during peak periods (e.g. around major events, public holidays, or promotional drops). We will communicate any known delays via the website or by email.

Production times are separate from, and in addition to, the delivery timescales set out below.

3. UK Delivery

We ship to all addresses within the United Kingdom, including mainland England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Delivery to certain remote postcodes (e.g. Scottish Highlands, islands) may take slightly longer than the standard estimates.

Delivery estimates are from the date of despatch, not the date of order. All timescales are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier once your order has been collected.

4. International Delivery

We currently ship to UK addresses only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

If you are based outside the UK and would like to be notified when international shipping becomes available, please get in touch at hello@modernstandard.life.

5. Order Tracking

Tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout once your order has been despatched. Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive a despatch confirmation within 6 business days of placing your order.

All UK orders are sent with tracking. You will receive a despatch confirmation email with your tracking number and a link to follow your parcel.

If you have not received your despatch notification after 6 business days, or if your tracking shows no movement for more than 5 business days, please contact us at hello@modernstandard.life.

6. Delivery Address

It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout. We are unable to amend an address after an order has entered production.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or because it was not collected from a delivery point, we will contact you to arrange re-despatch. Re-despatch charges will apply. If you do not wish to have the order re-despatched, we will refund the product cost but not the original shipping charge.

We cannot accept liability for orders that are lost or delayed as a result of an incorrectly provided address.

7. Lost or Missing Orders

If your order has not arrived within 15 business days of your despatch notification, please contact us at hello@modernstandard.life and we will investigate with our fulfilment partner.

Where an order is confirmed lost by our fulfilment partner, we will offer a free replacement or a full refund. We are unable to action lost order claims before the timeframes above, as parcels can remain in transit or with local carriers without tracking updates.
